About Us

We are Philip and Jude Reddaway. We set up Rhone Wine Holidays in 2007 to realise our dream to work and live in a place we had come to love. For 14 years our tours were run from La Madelene in Malaucene, at the base of Mount Ventoux.

From 2021 our tour guests will be housed in a stunning Provencal ‘Mas’ ( distinguished country house) high in the Dentelles hills on the wine estate Domaine de Mourchon

Philip worked for many years as director of a global media company in London, but his passionate interest in wine eventually led to him giving up his media career in order to pursue a new vocation in wine tourism and education. After three years studying at the Wine and Spirit Educational Trust he holds a WSET diploma, is qualified as an AIWS (Associate of the Institute of Wine and Spirits) and is a WSET approved wine instructor.

Before arriving in France Jude lectured in Law at a UK university. An experienced self taught Chef, Jude will devote herself to making your wine tour into a memorable holiday, serving delicious Provencal feasts from fresh seasonal ingredients from the local markets to accompany fine Rhone wines from our cellar.

If that were all there were to it, wine would be just another agricultural product. For me the true romance of wine lies in discovering the history; the traditions ; the personalities; and above all the fascinating stories that lie behind what we have in our glass. I aim to capture this spirit in my wine tours”
